Mozee Motorsports

Mozzee Motorsports is MSOE's Formula Hybrid/Electric team. We compete at the national competetion at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in the spring.

Our team is made up of students from all different majors, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering and many others. We work together to design, build and test a hybrid vehicle that meets the requirements of the competition.

I joined the team in September of last year as an electrical hardware member. I remember thinking it woulnd't go too far, especially since I have a very limited background with cars and engineering projects in general compared to my peers (or at least, it felt that way). However, I stuck around because I liked the environment the team creates. Plus, I have learned a lot of real-life engineering skills that I would have otherwise missed out on. This upcoming year I will be the high voltage lead since we have decided to restructure from "hardware" and "software " to "high voltage" and "low voltage". I'm excited for what this year will bring and to continue to help this team grow (no pressure, right?)
